Romo was a full participant in Thursday’s practice, running the scout team offense after participating on a limited basis last week. Romo went through his second straight full practice Thursday, but has yet to play this season since suffering a back injury during Dallas’ third preseason game.

Without him, the Cowboys have cruised to a 7-1 record under rookie Dak Prescott. Prescott has thrown for 2,020 yards with 12 touchdowns and two interceptions. He’s also run for four more scores.
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett told reporters Wednesday that Romo’s status for Sunday would be “a day-by-day evaluation.”
“He’s moving around well. He’s throwing the ball well,” Garrett said. “We’ll just see what he’s able to do (Thursday) and make our evaluation from there.”
