Jerry Jones and the Cowboys are no strangers to the flashy, big-time move, so it’s no surprise that they’re reportedly targeting the most intriguing offensive weapon in the NFL Draft: Florida tight end Kyle Pitts.
ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported on an NFL Draft special that Jerrah and Co. are hot after the Florida product and may look to move up to select him (via 247Sports).

Dallas, sitting at No. 10, would very likely need to move up to select Pitts. While quarterbacks are expected to go 1-2-3, the Falcons’ pick at No. 4 and the Bengals’ pick at No. 5 are both unsolved mysteries at this point, meaning Dallas will have to give up some big-time draft capital and more to move up some spots.
Pitts is truly the unicorn of the 2021 NFL Draft. He dazzled during his pro day and earned comparisons to Hall of Fame receiver Calvin Johnson, posting a ridiculous wingspan and 40-yard dash time that solidified his status as a top-10 (maybe top-five) pick.
A skill group that features Pitts, CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Ezekiel Elliott would be second to none in the league, and give Dallas, on paper, arguably the biggest and best offensive attack in the league.
Everything’s bigger in Texas, after all.
